Seth M.  Zeidman, MD

Dr. Zeidman attended Duke University for both undergraduate and medical school. He graduated with honors from Trinity College of Duke University. He graduated from Duke University School of Medicine with Special Recognition for excellence in Internal Medicine and Pathology. He completed an internship in General Surgery at the Johns Hopkins Hospital as well as a Residency in Neurosurgery at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Zeidman completed a fellowship in Neurosurgical Research with an emphasis on brain and spinal tumors at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda Maryland. Following a year as the Assistant Chief of Service at the Johns Hopkins Hospital he served in the US Army as director of Neurosurgical Spinal Surgery at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

He relocated to Rochester in 1999 and was appointed the director of Complex Spinal Neurosurgery at the University of Rochester - Strong Memorial Hospital. In 2002 he founded Rochester Brain and Spine and has since served as its President and founding Partner.

He enjoys spending time with his family. Dr. Zeidman is the proud recipient of the Unity Health System Guardian Angel and the Patient's Choice Award.


Clifford J. Ameduri, MD

Clifford J. Ameduri, MD, received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Syracuse University.  His medical degree is from New York Medical College. He is Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation having completed his residency under the direction of Dr. Jerome Tobis at the University of California, Irvine.

Dr. Ameduri has Subspecialty Boards in Impairment and Disability Evaluation.  He likes to consider himself old fashioned, hands on, Physical Medicine doctor. He is well known for his expertise in trying to restore function in those who have suffered serious injuries.  Quality of life is his main goal for his patients.

For many decades, Dr. Ameduri has been both a ring side physician and examination physician for professional wrestling and boxing events throughout the United States. Dr. Ameduri has been a member and promoter of nature body building, being strongly opposed to the use of performance enhancing drugs in athletics either in the amateur or professional ranks. He has been the medical editor for natural weight lifting magazines since the 1990s.


Naseer Ahmad Tahir, MD

Dr. Naseer Tahir was trained at Downstate Medical Center in New York. He is Board certified both in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. He has been working in Rochester for more than twenty years, working as an Anesthesiologist and Pain Medicine specialist. His special interests include fluoroscopic-guide interventional pain procedures including Radiofrequency nerve ablation.

Dr. Jared Anderson attended Canisius College where he studied Sports Medicine and Exercise Sciences, gaining knowledge in spine and extremity injury prevention, maintenance, acute care, and rehabilitation. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College. He is a Board Certified Chiropractor and Certified Athletic Trainer.

Dr. Anderson believes in combining Chiropractic case management with evidence-based medical management of spine care. He works closely with several healthcare disciplines. His ultimate goal in any treatment plan is to restore function to the neuromusculoskeletal system and improve overall quality of life. Dr. Anderson resides in Rochester, NY where he enjoys his free time with family and friends, golfing, and the outdoors.

 



Emily Lapp

Emily Lapp, PA-C

Emily earned her Bachelor of Health Science degree at Gannon University, then earned her Master's degree in the Physician Assistant program at Gannon University. She has been working here at Rochester Brain and Spine with Dr.Zeidman for 6 years. Emily assists Dr.Zeidman in the operating room and also works in the office as well. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She enjoys spending time with her family.


Libby Jefferson, PA-C

Libby earned her Bachelor of Science at Rochester Institute of Technology, in the Physician Assistant Program in 2006. After working 6 years in Inpatient Medicine at both Newark Wayne Community Hospital and Unity Hospital; she joined Rochester Brain and Spine in May of 2012. Libby is a member of the Rochester Regional Physician Assistant Association and has served on the Board of the Rochester Regional Physician Assistant Association since 2010. She is also an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.


Nathaniel Brochu

Nathaniel earned his Bachelor of Science at Rochester Institute of Technology, in the Physician Assistant Program in 2006. After working in Glens Falls at a Neurosurgery practice for two years, he relocated to Rochester, NY where he joined Rochester Brain and Spine in 2008. Nathaniel is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Nathaniel is an avid hockey player.


Cindy Larson, PA-C

Cindy Larson, PA-C

Cindy completed her training as a Physician Assistant at Rochester Institute of Technology. She also has a master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Syracuse University and a B.A. from Dartmouth College. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Rochester Regional Physician Assistant Association. She enjoys running and traveling with her family.
